Church Yard Survey
Location: Oxfordshire

As a part of the second phase of their project, the White Horse project in Uffington have undertaken a survey of their local church yard.
The survey took place in October 2003 and will help in establishing the origins of their village.

A part of the process was to mark the church yard out into a grid. Volunteers were then allocated a section of the grid and asked to record the information found on the grave stones within it.

The plaque is in memory of the Thatcher family, the parents of the late Dennis Thatcher.
