Path Building Work Parties
Location: Reading

We have two paths to upgrade to a width suitable for use by wheelchairs and to put on a top dressing. So far one work party has been held to do one path.

2 February 2005
Path Task 1
Venue: Clayfield Copse

The first path work party was held on 2nd February 2005, we widened and dressed over 100 feet of path from the car park to Clayfield Copse. We were assigned by an enthusiastic group form the Post Office who came to help us on a team building event. With their help we shifted 60 tonnes of gravel and hoggin to build the path. See the pictures from the event.

22 May 2005
Path Task 2
Venue: Clayfield Copse

We have another work party planned for Sunday 22nd May 2005 to finish off the path (it is not completely smooth and even) and start work on the other path from the car park towards Blackhouse Wood. If you can come and help us then your help will be very much appreciated.
