Location: West Berkshire
Dear Readers,
Spring seems to be taking a long time coming this year but the work on the sites has progressed well over the winter months.
John Stephens has been hard at it, cutting down the old trees where needed, and helping clear the area.
The various volunteer workers have continued to help us and we are ever thankful to them.
We do have some more recent photos and I will get those published on our site as soon as I can.
We have put together a summary document of what we are trying to do and our progress so far - that should be available to open up within this page - contact me if you can't see or open the Word document.
As the weather improves, we should see more activity, and hopefully more locals involved.
We are also starting to interview some 'old timers' from the surrounding village and area.
We already have one recording and we are investigating how to get that digital recording on to the website - please check under Film & Recordings to see if that is available - in fact keep checking, because new material should arrive fairly soon now.
