‘GET WRITING CAMPAIGN’ October 2005

A stunning response! 160,000 words to date, but there’s still room for more.

We have gone from 50,000 words edited copy in July to nearly 160,000 words to date (21/10/05)! Very well done to everyone who has contributed in any way. Well done, too, for meeting our first deadline, or letting me know your contribution is in the pipeline.

Final Deadline – April 1st 2006

Can you help with:
Younger people – memories of Fishbourne in the 80s and 90s. Where are you now, 20 years on, that Class of 19** at Fishbourne School?
The three pubs – What can you tell us of their history and landlords/ladies over the past century?
Businesses past and present
Village clubs and groups especially youth groups – remember recent memories are still memories, just as much as those from longer ago.

Please don’t wait to be asked.
