SLIDES EVENINGS
Venue: Fishbourne Club
Following on from the Scanning and Memories Days, the Slides Evenings showed a selection of photographs from the 700 collected for the Photo Archive.
A full house attended the first Slides Evening held in March and demand was such that a repeat also played to a full house in May.
70 photographs from the Archive were examined in detail and were discussed by the audience. Caroline Adams of West Sussex Record Office and Project Group member made the initial selection with assistance from other members of the Project Group who also helped with the commentary script. William Knott, Project Group member, gave the commentary on both occasions, fielding questions and comments from the floor.
