Fort Watchouse & Environs Survey
Location: City of Bristol

This project is increasing public awareness of the history and natural history of a disused military fort by undertaking an archaeological and botanical survey. Althought the project group are based in Bristol, the Fort Watchouse overlooks Plymouth Sound in Devon.

The project is also including some oral history recordings of interviews with the few local residents who lived in the vicinity when the fort was commissioned.

The project is making sure that all of the resulting information is made available through the local records office, a website and a limited edition booklet.
