HMS Colossus Field Debris Survey
Location: Cornwall

The project intends to identify, survey and record items of wreck and cargo of HMS Colossus. This will allow a better understanding of the wreck and how best to preserve it. This will also provide background material to help support a display on Scilly of parts of Colossus already raised.

The project will inform and involve the local community in their maritime heritage so that they can appreciate and preserve it This will be achieved through training local people to enable them to participate in the production of booklets, displays, website and films, which will in turn engage the whole community.
