Peggy White - my LHI story
Location: Cornwall
Peggy White edits and produces the quarterly newsletter and posters, takes photographs of events, and updates the website for the Friends of the Luxulyan Valley.
I was originally asked to edit and produce the newsletter, and this led to taking photographs of the valley, mainly as a 'library' for the newsletter and posters.
I went to the Friends' AGM to find out what it was all about - and came home with a pile of paperwork to do not only the newsletter but also the posters, and now along with Gwyn Howells, the Friends' Press Officer, we manage the website as well.
I've always been interested in computers, but through the project Gwyn and Roger (the Friends' Secretary) and I were invited to a crash course on updating websites, and later I went on a course on digital imaging and producing a website. I'd played around with Desk Top Publishing before, but I've learnt a lot more about it now.
