Photos showing the traditional events of The Fair can be found in the archive. The money scramble, when coins are tossed from an upstairs window of the Town Hall has taken place for centuries. Years ago the coins were heated until red hot.
The white glove, representing King Henry III gauntlet, which he sent to Chulmleigh to signify his approval, is displayed throughout the fair.
