Cornworthy Local History and Lime Kilns Project
Location: Devon

The aim of the project is to contribute to raising awareness of the local history and heritage of the tidal Bow Creek of the River Dart.

The first phase is to raise awareness of the local industrial heritage by restoring a pair of lime kilns by the road in Tuckenhay Village, with the aim of showing the public what the lime kilns were, how they were worked and the uses to which the lime was put.

A leaflet will also be produced to tell others about the kilns.
