Lopwell Wildlife Arts Education Centre
Location: Devon
The project aims to help the local community increase its understanding, awareness and enjoyment of the richness and distinctiveness of the local natural heritage. It will provide oral interpretations of the features of the locally distinctive landscape and built features, as well as information boards and webcam links to a local nature reserve, SSSI and river.
The main thrust of the project is to set up an education centre in the locale which will provide a low impact area to be utilised by the local community. This project is intended to compliment the work of other local groups and organisations and will provide advice guidance and training for volunteers. The project was conceived by the local community and retains a good level of support and interest.
