The Teignmouth Midsummer Folk Festival-NEW DANCE
Location: Devon

THE NEW DANCE.

The new dance was performed on the Saturday afternoon- it is called ‘Old Bones’ and it is a processional dance for any even number of dancers, so it was performed by all Morris Teams as a massed dance through the town- one set of the dancers used specially made miniature whale bones, instead of sticks.
