An artists impression - Jenny Beck
Location: Dorset
Looking at the constant changes in our small community.
Local artist Jenny Beck made these drawings and paintings to record the progress of building work on the new Meadows site.
So far the majority of my work has centred in and around Drimpton. Whilst continuing to observe and record local images, I will now be exploring other sections of the stream, trying to portray in the images I create the relationship and influence of the stream on its surroundings.

 The morning sunlight was shining through the wetland on the far bank of the stream, creating flat planes of patterns of foliage, and silhouetting the alder tree overhanging the ford. I chose to do this in pen and ink washes to convey these patterns made by the light Netherhay Ford

Three new pictures around the "Little Axe" at Netherhay including the fascinating crocodile tree.
