Photographing the nameless stream

(July 2003)

Continuing from my first report, I have taken the second Black and White film of the New Bridge in Drimpton which completes the Black and White artistic images I was commissioned to take.

I have taken colour images of another section of the stream. I have started to take images of the land owners who farm the land surrounding the stream.

On Sunday 31st August at the opening of the New Bridge, I took a group photograph of the villagers who attended (see “Tea on the Bridge”).

I will continue taking images of the stream from Drimpton to the source at Lewesdon Hill, and some farmers’ portraits.

(Nov 2003)

I have taken one black and white film of the old bridge. I will be taking the second black and white film of the finished bridge soon, producing arty and interesting images.

I have put the river into sections, of which I have taken several, Drimpton Bridge to the stream joining the river Axe. So far I’ve taken five films of the stream.

I will be taking the images of the stream from Drimpton to the source in Lewesdon Hill. Here are some images I have already taken of the stream.

(February 2004)

Since 2003 I have finished taking colour images of the stream. I took images of the weir in winter because the weir has lots of trees surrounding it. With no leaves on the trees there is much better light.
I have taken images of all but two farmers who own the land alongside the stream.
