Venue: Royal Manor Arts College playing fields

Weston Road
Open 10 am - 4 pm

Exhibition of the Site Features and Finds

Meet a local Romano British man (Portland Man).
Try some of the skills needed to live on Portland.

Make your own drop spindle and learn to spin wool.
Make a clay pot.
Grind wheat on a quern.
Have a go at wattle and daub.
Carve a chalk sculpture using flint tools.
Help the team with the archaeological excavation.

If wet, St. Georges Heritage Centre, Reforme
Open 10 am - 4 pm
