Photographs of the Excavation
Location: Dorset

On this page you get access to photographs and information on the dig, as well as the collection of small finds.

Some of the features shown in the photographs are as yet, un-identified. As further digging produces evidence, conclusions can be made as to what they are.

Possible base of a Round House, or a Roman Temple. As the dig is very close to a know Well or Spring, there could be religious significance to some of the buildings. For instance, the large round structure could be the base of a wall of an ironage round house, - or a roman temple.

Clicking on the photograph on the left hand side of the page will give you a larger view, and description.

This link will take to to the collection of Dig photographs and Small Finds
