About the Trust
Location: Gloucestershire
The Trust seeks to ensure the conservation of this historic landscape for future generations by promoting an understanding of its social and economic history and its key role in the early development of Great Britain as an industrial nation.
The Trust was awarded a Local Heritage Initiative grant through the Countryside Commission, which has enabled funding of professional research in parallel with volunteer studies by local residents. We have held a number of house history workshops and talks to local groups as well as contributing exhibition material for local events.
More about the Tithing and a summary of some of the work we have undertaken so far is included below. Specific research papers will be available at a future date.
