Celebrating Somerset's Willow Industry
Location: Somerset

This project aims to record, celebrate and increase understanding of the willow industry in Somerset, and to promote links between agriculture, community and artistic practice in the area.

This is being achieved by:
* organising a series of art workshops in local schools;
* capturing anecdotal evidence of changes in the Somerset willow industry over the past 100 years;
* examining how the Somerset willow industry has affected local people and the landscape using oral, written and photographic evidence collected by local people.
