Holyrood Lace Mill, built around 1828, was central to the Chard Lace Riots of 1842. It is a key building on the Chard Lace Riots Audio Walk. Its importance to the community is reflected in its continued use by various organisations, including South Somerset District Council, South Somerset Homes, the Town Council offices, and is home to the town's library © South Somerset District Council
