The Millennium Group has produced an accurate history of the parish and its heritage.

Having followed the history of Urchfont over the past millennium, the project has enabled local people and visitors to the area to learn more about the parish.

The project concentrated on the influence of religion through the study of churches and chapels, as well as looking at military influence, crafts trades, daily life and legends.

The book resulting from the work of this project was launched on 28th September 2001.
