Birmingham Clarion Singers Archive
Location: Birmingham
This project will document and record the history and activities of the Clarion Singers. The choir has been in existence for 50 years and draws on folk and classical traditions.
The group list a number of famous ex members, and have an extensive archive of information on the choir, that documents the changing face of the area of the choirs membership base.
They will carry out on oral history project, to make available their existing archive, hold and record a series of six free performances, involve local schools, prepare information for book and produce a short film that will be shown locally.
