Centenary of the 6th Birmingham Boys Brigade
Location: Birmingham

The 6th Birmingham Boys Brigade Company is one of the oldest surviving Boys Brigade companies in Birmingham. It was founded in 1906 only 23 years after the Boys Brigade was founded by Alexander William Smith in 1883.

The Group want to celebrate their Centenary and capture the history of the company from 1906 for posterity. The group plan to achieve this through documentary research to produce a written history. They plan to hold a memorable Centenary event to bring old members back together for a gala reunion.

A video history documentary of the 6th Boys Brigade will also be produced containing interviews from members past and present. A launch will also be held to present the video. In conjunction with these events a website will be produced featuring the collected material.
