Since Easter 2005 the River Rea Heritage Trail has been open, and you can now see our information boards along the Rea.
On this page you will see a photo of the board at Cannon Hill Park in Edgbaston, Birmingham, the end of our trail.
Or of course the beginning if you wish to walk towards the source!!!
We have had 10,000 leaflets printed so that walkers have a guide to the areas history and ecology.
We have made great progress with the project website, filling it with all kinds of interesting information.
At present we are working on a education pack to go into all the local schools and libraries for the beginning of the new school year in September.
There is more to do by our completion date in September! But we have come a very long way to achieving all our goals.
