Sutton Park National Nature Reserve Archaeological Interpretation Scheme
Location: Birmingham

Sutton Park is one of the largest urban parks in Western Europe. It is a National Nature Reserve and is rich in archaeological features.

The Friends of Sutton Park Association and the Sutton Coalfield Civic Society are looking to promote and interpret the archaeological heritage of the site.

The group will have the following outcomes from this project;

  • produce interpretative material

  • organise heritage trails

  • hold an exhibition

  • create a school pack.
