EWYAS HAROLD ARCHAEOLOGICAL HISTORY GROUP - OPEN MEETING - RESULTS OF SURVEY - 4.7.06
Location: Herefordshire

There is a castle site, which dominates the village, but little information about the castle or its origins. By using local volunteers and working with specialists, the group wish to collate and examine documentary evidence, which exists from between 1048 and 1645 AD.

Open Meeting on the results of the earthwork survey.

7.00pm in St Michaels Hall, Ewyas Harold, Herefordshire -Tuesday 4th July 2006.

Andy Boucher from Archaeological Investigations Ltd will be presenting a talk on the results of the earthwork survey on the Castle Project of which the Archaeologists and volunteers have tirelessly worked using measuring instruments over the past weeks.
