MEDIEVAL FAYRE WILL BE HELD AT EWYAS HAROLD CASTLE SITE ON SAT 2ND SEPT 2006

EWYAS HAROLD MEDIEVAL FAYRE
Venue: EWYAS HAROLD CASTLE SITE, CASTLE LANDS.
A Medieval Fayre will be held on Sat 2nd Sept 2006 at Ewyas Harold Castle. It starts at 2pm and you are encouraged to bring your own picnic and drinks. The afternoon will consist of, The Montgomery Levy with Bryn Mawr Heritage Trust re-enactment, Passamezzo Medieval Dance Group, Herbalism, prize for the best child's medieval costume and face painting.
FREE ENTRY! The programme is as follows:-
2pm Open
2.30pm Story Teller - Tim Oak
3pm Judging of children's costumes by Mr Charles Renton.
3.15pm Falconry Display
4pm Passamezzo - early dance group
4.45pm Story Tell - Tim Oak
6.30pm Passamezzo - early dance group
7pm Macmillan Prize Draw
Evening Regan Duggan's Sound System
Montgomery Levy will be living the life of the Medieval times when the castle was in existence.
Archery throughout the day, face painting throughout the afternoon, the falcons will be seen on site 2pm - 4.30, skittle alley, the stocks with well known people! Marcus will be selling pork rolls, burgers and sausages, Gwatkins cider and soft drinks, skeleton in the sand & armoury by Roger Stirling Brown.
Mr Ron Davies MBE, Herefordshire Fundraising Manager of Macmillan Cancer Relief will be presenting the Grand Draw.
Boycie - John Challis, Actor of Only Fools & Horses, Green Green Grass etc will be also attending.
