Who wants to ‘Mow a Meadow’?

Mow A Meadow Project
Location: Herefordshire

The mow a meadow project aims to raise awareness and interest in natural and cultural heritage and customs and traditions within the St Weonards group of Parishes.

The project focuses around the churchyards with remnant old meadowlands that have often remained undisturbed for around 1000 years.

The group will be undertaking wildlife surveys and carrying out traditional maintenance of the churchyard, this will involve local people learning traditional skills. There will also be a range of workshops, events and leaflets to support the project.
