New Theatre Works
Location: Herefordshire

This project is based in Hereford around the River Wye. The River has played an important role in the development of Hereford. More recently, it has been identified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a candidate UK Marine Special Area of Conservation (SAC).

The group is planning, with other local groups, to research the history surrounding the River. Then, with the help of performers, it will interpret how the River is used and viewed in the present day.

The group will stage an interactive guided walk using theatre, music and dance to help bring the history of the area alive.

The group will carry out 11 performances and a video of the event.
