The History and Heritage of Pembridge
Location: Herefordshire

The village of Pembridge has a number of old properties as well as a moated site. Although this is a scheduled monument, it has never been investigated.

This project is carrying out a geophysical survey on the moated site. The group is hoping that when their research is finished, an accurate date can be placed. That could date the site anywhere between the Saxon and Medieval periods.

The group is also investigating the development of the village, its links to the original Saxon Borough and the dendrochronolgy of the some of the older properties.

The group is planning walks, talks, and an exhibition.
