Lyth Hill Heritage Celebrations 2006
Location: Shropshire

A programme of events in celebration of the special nature of Lyth Hill, organised by Shropshire County Council and the Lyth Hill Advisory Group and supported by the Local Heritage Initiative, which is a partnership between the Heritage Lottery Fund, Nationwide Building Society and the Countryside Agency

“Spring Walk”
Venue: View Point Car Park

A guided walk led by ecological consultant and wildlife expert Rob Mileto.
Come and join a relaxing stroll through woodland and meadow to discover the early signs of spring in the countryside.

Meet at View Point Car Park 2.00pm
Wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.

Venue: Car park at the Bayston Hill end of the site

Saturday April 29th 8.00am


An early morning walk led by local ornithologist Hugh Blofield, who has been surveying birds on Lyth Hill for many years.

Meet in the carpark at the Bayston Hill end of the site.
