We ran a competition in local secondary schools last autumn for local children to design a logo for our project. This logo will subsequently appear on all our letterheads, posters, leaflets, and banners.

At a committee meeting in December the entries were viewed and the winning and runners-up designs chosen. The winning entry was designed by JESS AUSTIN:

Both winners are pupils at Newport's Burton Borough School.

On Friday 13 January 2006, Mark Pritchard MP presented both pupils with their prizes in Newport's Guildhall.
