History of Cannock Town Centre
Location: Staffordshire

A book as been published about the old Cannock town centre. It is called The story of Cannock Town Centre through the Ages.

The grants obtained from Heritage Lottery Fund and Staffordshire Environment Fund, meant that the book can be compiled, published and issued free of charge. The books will be given to local schools, libraries, museums and to the people of Cannock towards the end of 2004.

The book has been researched by a number of local people. It highlights the story of six local landmarks which are situated in and around the town centre.
