This application is from the active local civic society who have completed an initial project to purchase and restore the village gaol. The society are now promoting a project to produce a book on the heritage of the village. They have already placed articles in the local media and magazines and have attracted local sponsorship. In this application they are proposing to produce a pictorial history of the village, postcards, carry out a minimum of three talks and hold a launch/exhibition
Project Chairman David Calcroft reports that the project was completed on time resulting in significant positive publicity for the society and for the Countryside Agency.
