Heritage of Cradley
Location: Worcestershire

The project aims to involve the community of Cradley village in its heritage by encouraging the study of, and general interest in, the history of the village and the surrounding area.

The two parts of the project are research and recording and prsentation of the results to the community. Research and recording will include a number of different elements. Firstly an oral history project, recording the memories of older residents in the village.
Secondly, there are 100 listed buildings in the village and the surrounding area, the group have already recorded 10 of these but want to try and involve local people in recording the remaining ones.

Finally the group are going to carry out both tree and churchyard surveys with expert advice. The group then plan to do a number of heritage talks in the village and hold an exhibition to show the resuls
