The Development Of The Parishes of Badsey And Aldington Since 1807
Location: Worcestershire

The project will trace the development of the Parishes of Badsey and Aldington since 1807 and make this information widely accessible. The starting point for the project will be scanning enclosure maps of Badsey and Aldington which are currently held in Oxford so that local people will have access to them.

The group will then be working in conjunction to the Worcestershire Environment and Archaeological Service (WHEAS) to digitise these maps on to a 3D GIS systems which will then be made available to the public through the web. The group will then be undertaking historical research using census information and photographic evidence to map the development of the parish.
