Colne Valley Heritage Project
Location: Kirklees

This project is bringing together the initiatives of individual community groups along the River Colne.

The project is establishing and implementing a holistic approach to identifying opportunities for heritage conservation and restoration.

The project is also undertaking work to create interpretation for the river corridor.

The Trust's Project Officer is co-ordinating volunteer and community group action. These groups are developing publicity, undertaking practical tasks, carrying out interpretation work, and giving advice to schools on projects.
