Quarry Bank Mills
Location: Kirklees
This was an eye-opening visit. The previsit group had decided that the tour of the mill would be too strenuous for our older people some of whom were 90+. Having talked ot the eduction department we decided to do two workshops which we were advised would be suitable for arthritic fingers. The restaurant was closed for reonvations and we decided to take a picnic. Which was provided by Holmfirth WI Market. It was delicious!
