The aim of the project is to complete the text, gather illustrations and produce a book detailing the last 1000 years of the village of East Keswick. The content for the book was gathered via village meetings, questionnaires and submissions from throughout the country and as far away as Canada. The project aims to arrange a book launch in the autumn.

The original plan was for a well-thought out well-supported book which already has a very large number of contributors. However, there was a restricted amount of proposed community involvement in the production of the book.
