Mystery Wreck - Admiralty Data
Location: North East Lincolnshire

The Admiralty lists Culmore Wreck at N 53 34.5 E 000 06.5 which is the position for Spurn Point, quoting Dictionary of Disasters at Sea "wrecked off Spurn Head". The position was amended in 1998 to "dead", i.e. non existent.
When four-masted barques started to appear in the 19th century, they were often called full-rigged ships since they had three square rigged masts, and a ship was more highly regarded than a barque.
A steel hulled 3 masted schooner from Grimsby was recently sighted off Bridgetown Barbados
