Survey of History & Archaeology of The Porter Valley
Location: Sheffield

The Porter Valley is two miles from the centre of Sheffield, and almost runs to the boundary of the Peak Park. This project is surveying the Porter Valley.

The project has chosen for its subject, the issue of 'Man's Impact on the Environment'.

The project is producing an educational pack, visitor information, and a brief for future restoration work.

Furthermore, as part of the project, public walks and talks are being given by group members.
